Trans ID Clinic
The Trans ID Clinic is a free, legal information service for those interested in the process of changing your name and/or gender marker on government issued documents. Appointments with the clinic are done virtually expect in special exceptions.
If you are at a point with your documentation that you only require notary services, please contact our lawyer supervisor Geneviève Colverson (colversonlegal@gmail.com) directly. The signing of legal documents will be done in person.
This clinic is operated by 2nd and 3rd year law students as part of the Pro Bono Students Canada program.
The Clinic operates seasonally between October and March to provide appointment-based legal information. Check out the list of other Trans ID Clinics if you need support with legal information.
